The last days on the island
... There are island activities like dance lessons, fire walking, crab hunting, fishing, etc. As far as we know there will be no phone nor internet there so we'll catch up after landing in NZ one week later.
Our last few days have been intense, amazing and maddening. Wrapping up three years of life, planning a 3 month travel with 3 small kids and gearing up for a new life ...
Surfing in Saipan!
... place here, and learned about the invasion, which is considered the D-day of the Pacific. The war history in Saipan is quite unique, and after learning more it made me wonder how I have never heard of it. That was capped off by driving around the southern part of the island seeing all the different beaches that were part of the invasion.
The next day was the big Hawkeye game! We both watched every second of it at Marcia's firm, which was the first game ...
A very memorable Christmas
... us with pins to wear... She gave me mine saying "here is your noel pin," I sat to think long and hard about how the pin is a noel pin, but could only come up with anti Lucifer. I'm including the picture of it, but it is an anti smoking sign with the "L" crossed out instead of a cigarette. Many people were at the party, all of whom Marcia seemed to know ranging from the town vet (wearing a plaid kilt) to the islands best professional runners (wearing antlers).

Farewell to Others
... probably still attract letters to the FCC and the network for inappropriateness for a general audience and perhaps for insensitivity to certain subcultures. And no, you wouldn't want it yelled to your church associates, the most open of whom would raise their eyebrows quizzically.
Once that blew over, a small Hash contingent (including the Instigator) went over to Godfather's Bar for a drink. I left after one round to go pick up Suka from work.
