We were given a tip that a town on the coast 3hrs east of Rio was the place to go, and it definitely turned out to be the case. Pristine beaches, and a nice town centre with good nightlife. We had several days to relax after the events of Carnaval so there was no rush to do anything. Sleep and wind down. Arriving at our hostel around dinner time, we had enough time to go to the supermarket and cook a meal. An early night. Nice!
