Passing through the airport again was a breeze. We got to the luggage area quickly and waited probably 15 minutes for our bags. Passed through customs (sort of, by that we walked by some guards, yay inter EU travel!) and were greeted by our town car driver. Very nice gentleman and spoke decent English so communications was no issue. Monaco was about a 45 minute drive away. ...

... sand" was all pebbles and there were dogs everywhere! We enjoyed our sandwiches and headed to see the whole city from above at Colline du Château.
The rest of the day was spent exploring and shopping for gifts (and ourselves, of course)! Sadly, we had to leave to catch our train so we could get back to Torino at a decent hour.
Overall, the weekend was perfect, and Nice, France was the perfect destination for my first outside-Italy trip. ...
