We stopped at the port of Corfu. The only way to really get around the island is to take an excursion. At least it was for us. We were going to see a Monastery in the village of Palaiokastritsa and to the village of Gastouri to visit the 19th century Achilleion Palace.
The places were very beautiful and again the excursions didn't disappoint ...

After months of beer, bad food and no exercise, the 25 litre water container proved a little more difficult to carry than it once would have to a fully fit Thomas Bilton. ... with them when we gat back. I will hand over to Nat now, I doubt she and Chiara will have the energy to write anything next time we are in port as the next few days will have her working harder than she has ever known - I run a tight ship, Fenders in/out, lines neatly coiled, Anchor up/down, (windlass assisted), row out to secure long lines, mmmm the dream has begun. Yasis for now, Captain David ...
