... in an eatery. The eatery was Kogetsu and it looked like it had seen better days. When we were looking at the menu in front of the eatery, a friendly cook came out and talked to us. She said squid ball was a speciality of the area and highly recommended it for us. Eventually, we had lunch there and squid ball was very good. All's well that ends well. We were satisfied with the trip to Sado and headed home.

From Takayama to Niigata.
... to be sitting a couple of extra days on the train this time, so we won't be visiting Hokkaido, this island along with Okinawa and Shikoku are left for our next trip.

Edit: Achso, vom Matsuri weswegen wir gekommen sind haben wir auch nix gesehen... aber Andi bleibt wie immer optimistisch "Na wenigstens regnet es nicht". Morgen is ja auch noch ein Masuri Tag...da schauen wir wieder zum ...

Niigata ein Festl 祭り, leider gibts da leider keine Zimmer im Hotel mehr
(hab gefragt und der Typ im Hotel ist kurz rausgegangen und gleich
wieder gekommen und hat gemeint, es gibt nix mehr.... sehr schnell
nachgekuckt meines erachtens -_-)

Sashimi 刺身 aus dem Supermarkt gegessen und noch ein ...
