The destination stated on the front of the bus is quite specific. It says Shinjuku, not Tokyo. To translate this into a UK comparison, this is a bit like getting on a bus in Brighton and finding out that it's going to Kensington rather than London. A lot of the buses around Fujiyoshida and Kawaguchko seem to go to Shinjuku and none to Tokyo - I can't work out why!

... The streets here are much like in doraemon. Police stations, doraemon, karaoke arevevery where. The streets are small but very lean and organized. There were also maid cafes and drinking bar ( standing bar) everywhere. We were looking for a ar recommended by Kumiko. It is so difficult! Toby, his kids, Adam and Dana all left Japan today. It was such a short time but I hope they could understand tiny grasp about Japan. Japan is not just about Tokyo and there are plenty of other places to visit but one week is not good enough to do that. There is always next time… Hope they come back again in the future and I can show them more about my country.
