Our first stop on the road to South America was an overnight in Dallas, Texas on Spencer's B-day. So, I scouted out a famous BBQ place that was close to the airport and our hotel - Hard Eight Texas BBQ was it! We ordered a tray of meat - seriously. We chose a sampler tray of different meat including; beef brisket, chicken jalapeno poppers, spicy sausage, and some beef skewers plus we added corn on the cobb. Everyone's favorite was the beef ...

... back to the airport at 2:30pm was a breeze. Returning Sophia was bittersweet. Haha She's a good little car. As ping back through security was a breeze. I highly recommend getting Pre-TSA status. You skip the lines and you don't have to trip down to your undies to go through their scanners. Now I'm sitting here waiting to board the flight to my first leg of my european trip - Paris! 9.5 hours stuck in an airplane...ugh! Thank goodness for my sleep aid. Until tomorrow - Au ...
