The sun doesn't always shine in Mauritius!

We awoke to our usual view across the small bay, beautiful blue skies and the sun shining brightly so another relaxing day was on the cards, for David swimming and snoozing with a couple of refreshing beers and for me kindle and cocktails !

Before long it was time to get ready for dinner. We are eating at the buffet restaurant this evening but as we leave our room we couldn't help noticing the Banyan Restaurant all beautifully lit and not far away the outdoor cinema was being prepared.

... dinner. We both had the tuna to start, so succulent and nothing like it comes out of a tin. I have a challenge now to recreate this at home. After dinner we went to the beach open cinema for another film, we lay there on the loungers with a blanket looking up to the stars. It would have been the perfect end to the day had it not started to rain half way through. We decided to call it a day and retire for the night. ...

Today ended up being a fun packed day for a relaxing holiday. After our morning lie out on the beach we headed over the reception for our cookery class. An unusual activity but as it was included as part of the package we thought we would take part. There were 11 of us, we all were kitted out with aprons towels and chef hats which at the end we were allowed to keep. We helped prepare a three course meal with a papaya ...
