... was. Today we are on our own. No tours, no buses, no schedule. We were allowed off the ship at 8:00 this morning, and we were down the gangway by 8:30. Our plan for the day was to just visit Old Town in Rhodes. It shouldn't be to difficult since it is right across the street from the ship. Basically, five minutes from the cabin. Our tour started with a visit to Mt Philerimos where the Church of Our Lady is situated. It is built over the ruins of a Greek temple dedicated to the Goddess Athena and Christian catacombs and is 1000 feet above sea evel so gives some great views.
