... almost private sunset view all to ourselves.

The Santorini Sunsets really are something to write home about. We have seen some pretty special sunsets in some amazing settings, but Santorini’s have to be up there with the best. Although our first night it was non-existent because of all the cloud and fog, after that, we enjoyed a different vista each night. ... windy road to the top of the Caldera. The bus from the port to the top of the Caldera is windy zig zags up a steep cliff that left Kinda feeling seasick something she has not experienced before. Then I took my white knuckled hand from clutching the window frame and turned to the two Russian women, who spoke no English, sitting next to me. I looked at them with big big eyes and showed them my hands shaking like a leaf and said, "It's okay?" They nodded furiously and said, "it's okay, it's okay!"

      Okay - that was all I ...

Another good visit to Santorini, taken ashore via the lifeboats, then the cable car up to the top. we arrived early so not so busy yet. Passed the fish tanks so thought I would give it a go, a couple of the passengers assured me it was a good feeling. Paid 10 euros for 15 mins, but we all then worked out we could get 30 mins for 15euros, so we had another 15 mins. we also thought the ...
