      ... we were ready to move on. We've got plenty of time to kill before we rent an apartment in Istanbul. We reserved a bus ride to Pamukkale, an ancient spa city inland about 4 hours. It's a place where people came from all over the ancient world to sit in the healing waters and enjoy the dramatic travertines, white circular pools formed naturally. If it's good enough for Roman Emperors and Cleopatra, it's good enough for us.

      ... multiple drinks and it appeared to me you could just walk out of the place without paying. When we did go to pay it was a bit of an honesty system. I do wonder if the last person left cops the remainder of the bill? This system would never work in Australia.
      Alex went home after about an hour but Ail the driver stayed out with us and had a few bevies - again that would never work in Australia! ...

      ... hope that we would snag a Tuna but we only managed to catch a fishing net until the last day when we landed a small 7lb tuna which we all enjoyed. Simon ‘cooked’ it in lemon juice and onions and we had a rice-y salad with it, YUM!

      Once again as with my experience in Italy there has been a ton of rubbish drifting and floating about the sea which is really tragic. Lots of plastic bottles, fish-packing crates and countless plastic bags. ...
