... way to brown frostbitten farmland on which crops were being grown under long portable plastic shelters shaped like Nissen huts. After about an hour we reached the first of many checkpoints at the Reunification Bridge. Obstacles on the bridge forced the bus to run a slalom course from one side of the bridge to the other. She even starts whipping me with a souvenir so that I can buy more! I eventually buy a cappucinno and leave before she beats me up! But all along she was smiling ...

... lattes throughout the trip. Our first adventure was to the N Seoul Tower where we saw the locks of love and a view of the city. Unfortunately it was a foggy day, but the view was still really pretty. The next stop was shopping in Myeong Dong. It was very cold so we just walked around for a little bit, ate some duk bokie from a street vendor, and then headed to Tab’s favorite Korean BBQ restaurant where we cooked our own pork and ate kimchi and other vegetable side ...
