Early start and bags packed ready for a a midday trip to the cruise terminal . Had a few hours to kill so walked to the Academia area of Venice- beautiful area to walk and and again plenty of photo opportunities. ... to come back. We walked around many of the streets in Venice. Many bridges and few actual roads. No cars, people travel here only by walking or in boats. We did take a gondola ride in the evening. It included a serenade. :). There were 4 gondolas together and on one there was a singer and an accordion player.
