Early start today to check out of hotel #1 and head to the boat. It was a great day after some initial confusion and panic and nearly missing the boat (I have now explained to them the difference in English between "being picked up outside the auditorium" and "making your own way to the boat opposite the auditorium across two main roads and a car park")! There was probably a total of 50 people on the boat of mixed ages and nationalities. After leaving the port, we headed west ...

... I'm used to my full 8 hours at least!). There were no definite plans with the others so hopefully I won't have burnt any bridges and will be able to party with them next time instead. Right. ... who have all been here a while. They seem to have their own group but some were more sociable than others! Most of them go home this week though so no real allies to gain. The flamenco was very impressive - not at all cheesy which is what I had feared. Lots of clapping and stamping and swooshing - but very cool. Didn't quite manage my early night though so feeling quite ...

... we went to a lovely and very popular tapas place (La Boveda) which James introduced to me last year. After dinner caipirinhas (of course!) at Idem - a very cool small bar, which sadly was very hot and a bit quiet... To be tried again at a weekend! Monica did very well speaking English all night and there weren't too many awkward silences to contend with! Our mission tomorrow is to try to encourage more people from the course to be ...
