... dark, but we were still happy. Our choices: Wedges, mojito, "Tom Collins" cocktail, bottle of red, chicken with satay and lemongrass on egg noddles, Australian beef steak on mash and roast veg with mushroom sauce. Price: £14! We would be going again tomorrow. It wasn't the cheapest meal possible in Vietnam, but value, WOW and it was delicious!

We finished the evening with a bit of an explore and shopping. Our plan for the next day would be to go to ...

The boys had some Aussie company whilst there with Jimmy from Melbourne, a recently retired man and Geelong supporter who was en route to Sri Lanka and then Ireland. Jimmy promised to ...

Eric was the grill master and cooked everything the best. Once everything was grilled, you'd take whatever you wanted and put it on top of a small bowl of rice and top it off with a chili soy sauce (none for Lauren though!) ;). Eric was a happy ...

... and Dani had brought over (one of the things Jenna misses most about the UK!). Matt and Dani’s room was much the same as ours, but came with a balcony which had just about enough space for four chairs, and plenty of room for some plastic beakers on the table. We then wandered into town and selected one of the many restaurants, purely beacuse they had bowls of fresh live seafood outside. In the end, none of us opted for a sea food dinner, deciding ...
