"David, the taxi is here". Shouted Jane from outside. Music to my ears, I turned and went, he was already hassling some other poor guy before I had even got out the door.

I was so excited for another train trip. I do love it. It's so much better than being on a bus or plane. Comfortable, spacious, smooth. It is better being able to see more because we are not just stuck on main roads.

After a day of relaxing we caught a taxi to an authentic Vietnamese BBQ, the taxi driver was really quiet until he gauged we weren't Russian and promptly shouted f**k the Russians (mum told me to stop swearing in my blogs so I'm using asterisks which I hope she'll approve of) after that he bloody loved us. The Vietnamese BBQ was jokes, I'm sure you can understand what BBQing inside is like....pretty smokey. Once you got past inhaling ...

These make the standard family of 5 riding along seem quite normal. On our bike we went to visit Long Son Pagoda which was founded in the 19th century. The entrance and ...

... left the south vietnamese to fend for themselves. The south was defeated by the Viet Cong and in 1975 independence was declared for Vietnam. Even though Uncle Ho died in 1969 before independence, he is worshipped as the driving force behind Vietnam's independence. It is quickly noticeable how one-sided the information is. The "Historical Truths" section of the War Remnants museum doesn't share any information on what type of monetary and other support ...
