Hung over again

... ill but it was cheap and filled us up.

We went to a place called Montys bar where they had a live act on we thought it was going to be really cheesy but it turned out to be ok. Steve the man who was playing was really good and played lots of old classics man rock songs so Ian liked it and I enjoyed it to. We then stagered back to our room around midnight a little drunk again. Looks like we are fitting right in with this holiday.

Too Funny

... only problem is that the room really smells of smoke its making me feel sick. We dumped our stuff Ian had a quick shower and off we went to look for something to do. Straight into an english bar Browns had a glass of wine and a beer for 4 euros ha ha then went on to another place. Where we are staying is a large area full of english bars and irish bars and we ended up in the smugglers irish bar taking shots of ...

Morocco deserves more than a day!

... well, I don´t think they really ride camels anymore in the city of Tangier anyway. After a couple more bus photos, it was back on the ferry to Spain.

All in all, here´s the verdict on Tangier. It is definitely a changing city, filled with construction of new hotels and lots of places trying to spruce up their looks. I wish we could have spent more time to actually see the real Morocco, instead of getting hustled around on the tour bus, but it was worth it none the less ...

Where the Bullfight Was Born

This is by far the most beautiful city I have visited in Spain! Ronda is where the first bullfight took place and is home to the oldest bullring in Spain. The other students and I started out the day listening to one of our professors give a speech about the history of bullfighting, very interesting but after three hours I was ready to see Ronda. We then went to the bullring and had the opportunity to go inside where the fights take place. It was a feeling like no ...

Dirving through Andulucia mountains

We decided today we would stay in the area and just go driving. We wanted to check out some wineries and take a cave tour. But we didn't get a chance to do either one. The cave tours were 5 hours long. The caves are amazing but not sure Shae would be able to hang that long. my guess is not. And we drove and drove and didn't find one winery. I think we got close one time. But anyway the ride was beautiful and there was a great restaurant in a white village ...

Best day of trip so far...

... a holiday so everyone was out and this is a popular destination for miles around. We got to the square and they had a jumping tent set up for the kids. Shae was thrilled. Finally, something she can enjoy doing on her own. We sat at the nearby cafe and she jumped probably 5-6 different times. She made a couple of new friends. It was so cute. We also got a great suggestion for lunch and headed over when they opened ...

Ronda

Yesterday (Saturday) I went to Ronda with the group that I am with in Malaga. It was really cool. Even though I am not a big fan of the group tours, it wasn't that bad. The tour guide was older and I could understand most of what he was saying and we visited some pretty neat places. There is a really large canyon that divides the town into two, and that is just really spectacular. It wasn't what I was expecting, but that isn't a bad thing ...

Damn those evil automatic doors!

... having learned a bit of Spanish whilst in America, was the only one in the group who could find out where the apartment was, how to get to the highway, why the damn Spaniards were all asleep in the middle of the day...things like that. However, being the driver, Mr. Wasserman must have felt awfully left out during conversations that were carried out through his window to the back seat, as he would often add his own little piece. He seemed to have ...

A whole lotta donkey talk.

... take a lot of balls to do. Me being a city slicker would surely have been lost of my first day setting out to fulfill such an adventurous project. I probably wouldn't even have been able to open the sheep fence gate to get onto the property in the first place. Something I actually found out one groggy morning when we were heading into the village for breakfast. I actually managed to open the gate, but after Caroline and Gunnar drove ...
