... turn is it to pay? I've grown accustomed to the first words I speak for the day being my coffee order! But we seem to have re-adjusted pretty quickly, and it's really nice to sit somewhere watching the world going by, and discussing your analysis with a comfortable companion! If we thought there were plenty of steps in Venice we soon discovered there are plenty more in Valletta. We are at the top of the hill near the national war museum. We had decided we would have a relaxing day at the resort today. Turned out I didn't feel so well so after breakfast we returned to the room to read, write emails, etc. While I had a nap G did some study. We moved to the pool for lunch and some relaxing mid afternoon. By late afternoon I was feeling better so we still managed to have dinner at the terrace restaurant and knock off another bottle of ...

... first and sit in the first row. It was still all economy class though. Baggage took an age to arrive at Catania airport and by the time we took a taxi to our B&B it must have been about 1030pm. No elevator at the B&B so we first carried our hand luggage up about six flights of stairs. What do you know - there is no room available for us! I spent the next 30 minutes or so in a stinking hot reception ...
