Day 5: Germany

A travel blog entry by creeky on Jul 10, 2015

Day 3 of our tour saw us travel from Amsterdam to Germany. After a few hours on the coach we arrived in Boppard, where we were able to walk on the banks of the Rhine during a bit of free time. The hostel room was still like an oven when we got back so I wandered off to look at the Rhine where I found a tropical paradise right ...

... quite well decorated and one even has a large animatronic moose head, which sings Christmas carols. Around the Paradeplatz, there are a lot of children's fairytale themed things as well.

To finish off the day, there was a little Christmas carolling in Edingen at the Marktplatz, with a brass band, although my German singing leaves a lot to be desired!
