... We stayed clear of the left lane for the most part and did remark that three hot machines blew by us(on each others tail) as if we were standing still and we were doing 130 kmh. Some things never change!!!

Early this morning, about 4.30, we sailed passed Frankfurt and onto Cologne, berthing at about 1pm. We opted for the city walking tour which was about 1.5 hour duration. Sailed all day and arrived Cologne at around 3pm. As we approached, Cologne Cathedral loomed large, dominating the skyline. Upon docking we caught the Avalon bus into the old town.
