Today I bus to Frankfurt. I've been there before a long time ago when I worked for Penguins doing the book fair. I'd seen a little of the city then but it has grown in stature since and is more of a financial hub. It laden with foreigners it's not unlikeable though and has a lively atmosphere. Like Berlin there are some amazing smells around the city but also like ...
... you have you bag in your room and want to store things in your luggage that you may want to protect. The safes in rooms aren't always easy to operate and it's not like you are locking up the crown jewels. This feels a little easier to me.
#4 - LIttle mesh bags to keep groups of things organized - your cords, your first aid supplies, your general travel miscellaneous items (sunblock, compass, flashlight, etc., your european converters).

... the red wine but both were good and warmed me right up on those chilly german afternoons.
After Simon's dad brought me and Simon to a lookout point where I got to see a fantastic view of the Rhine River. I could definitely see at that point why so many people from across the world came to this area of Germany. As it got colder, we went back into the car and said "auf wiedersehen" to Rüdesheim, and headed back to the house to prepare for the next days ahead.
... car so we could find a park.
We walked into town from the Westend, past the large Deutsche Bank skyscrapers. Frankfurt is Germany's New York because it has so many skyscrapers, but that is the only comparison you can draw! Perhaps also because it has a Börse (Stock Exchange) and is a finance centre. It is home to many different corporations including the European Central Bank and the Detusche Bundesbank. The city has more banks than the Nile River!
