... German beers, which now that I'm 21 can officially say are better than any other types of beer I have tried. After this we headed back to the house, since Christmas Eve was now only hours away!
In Germany, Christmas Eve is more important than Christmas Day, the bigger meal is served on the 24th, and the presents are given that evening instead of in the morning on the 25th. I learned about Advent wreaths, which are used during Christmas time. They are wreaths with ...
... and will see if this blogs so to speak. This morning was a bit of a magical one, I should step back and say that snow is not something new for me, I was raised with it and when you have to go to school and work in it day after day its ..... well its a bit ho hum. ... Instead of boarding directly to the plane, we got herded onto a bus and driven to our plane about a mile away on the tarmac. There were a lot of other planes parked on the tarmac from all over the world. I especially noted a Russian and Ukranian airliner parked next to each other.
We settled in for the 11-hour nonstop back to Houston arriving on schedule just before 7:00 PM.
Travel is great but getting back home is the best part.
