Our alarm went off at 6:30am and so we had time for a quick shower before we packed our stuff and walked to Sinh Cafe. We had a short wait for our bus to turn up but barely any people got on board so we took a double seat each. It wasn't long before we stopped for a thirty minute break at a random road-side restaurant that was pretty rank as usual …

Overnight buses, rain & war museum

We took an overnight bus from nha trang to ho chi minh city. We decided to try and save a few pennies by doing it by bus instead of a plane. It didnt look too bad from the photos and all we were planning on doing was sleeping. It had its own toilets and we could pick our own seats
I think by now we have experienced all forms of southeast …

We chatted to him for an hour or two (well, he talked at us really!) which was fascinating - he'd come to Kep 5 years previously to start a new life with his wife and he'd built the …

We had booked the half day tour of the tunnels the previous day and we were both very excited to be seeing one of Vietnam's main tourist attractions. We caught the air conditioned bus to the Cu Chi which is about 65km …

As soon as you walk into a little alley the noise of the motorbikes fade away and queitness welcomes you to this clean and quiet hotel. Breakfast of baguette and omlette, juice and cofee was provided each morning. However, don't expect to get more than one baguette.
