Beach time
We chilled out for three nights at Ngapali enjoying the pristine beach and indulging in the super fresh sea food.
Not much else to report on, as we really didn't do much else other than sunbath and swim in the sea.
From Ngapali we attempted to complete the very difficult journey to Bagan much further in the North.

Burmese Paradise: Ngapali Beach
... half the price of what we were originally quoted at with our online reservation (though there was a bit of a dispute in Burmese between the security guard and ticket agent, as I think the agent realized he just missed an opportunity to pocket some extra cash). The flight was a few hours late, but we filled the time using the photo booth app on my iPad with a young Burmese boy. We eventually landed back in Yangon and it was time to catch the night bus to Bagan.

Anecdote : au midi, allongé sur la plage, une dame portant fruits et noix de coco sur sa tête, m’offrit le goûter. À ma demande de melon et bananes, elle me répond 2$. Et bien vous savez quoi ? Elle me glissa en plus d’un melon complet et d’un régime généreux, une noix de coco et le collier de coquillage qu’elle portait à son cou…

Christmas on the beach
