... br> After some speeches from the principal and teachers, the President of the Edenvale club gave the students lesson about the importance of hand washing ("No Poo"). Most of the kids use buckets at home, so they will be doing ongoing lessons about proper sanitation to avoid illness.

Then the kids got to perform –the best part! Each grade sang a short song. Most were about how great God is, ...

Day 1: Thursday 20 March 2014 Travel day has arrived at last. We all met at various times at the airport and made our way through customs to meet at the Shongololo Lounge where we relaxed, made ourselves brekkie and had a couple of beers to toast our trip back to Paradise. Beers etc before 11h00 in the morning, you have got to love it. Duty free shopping consisted of a few bottles of wine & a box of cigars which were half the price compared to shops in SA. ... So Peter and I parted by choice at the door. However, the thought of ever having to do that was very thought-provoking and unsettling. We were there longer than we had planned...

We had SIM card problems again so we headed to Sandton City's Vodaphone store to have our connection problem corrected. It was late in the day so we had dinner at the adjoining Mandela Square where we had a wonderful Italian dinner.
