There was a point of no return where boats would come in and pick up the slaves. The Governor of the whole place had close to 600 people working for him. ... sold because it's the Aboakyir Festival this weekend. We walked a lot and found ourselves at the shrine for the deer and we saw they were starting the sacrifice of the deer. I am still not sure exactly what happens but we watched them skin the deer and then chop it up in sections. During this time the chiefs are sitting around and singing. The overnight flight from JFK was uneventful...never fun to spend 10 1/2 hours in a silver tube, but tolerable. Food was...airline food.
