At the age of 21, I have been blessed enough to go to 24 different American States, and 9 different countries. Being raised a traveler puts a specific mindset in a person. I am never satisfied in one place. I constantly scour online travel sites looking for new and exciting trips, comparing prices, itineraries, and organizing my dreams.

... before dinner so much that we bought another bottle in the same shop as the evening before. This time we also got two souvenir glasses, which we still use.
We had dinner in the hotel restaurant again. But that night the place was so slammed we had to eat from a limited menu at the bar. I think we had a less than memorable pizza.
Patty recalls being kept awake by revelers, but I don't remember being bothered by them.

Before driving back to the Inn, we stopped at a mountain gift shop just up the road and bought a bottle of wine. We thoroughly enjoyed an otherwise nondescript wine as we drank it from plastic cups on the great patio outside our room, no one else around. We enjoyed a quiet dinner in hotel restaurant and called it a day.

The drive up was scenic and uneventful. We must have had lunch in one of the small towns along the way, but I do not remember, alas.
I think we got to check into our room at the Inn early that afternoon; then we drove around the Gardens.
We must have had dinner at a restaurant on the grounds, but not at the big upscale one.
