    ... is a hill near Highclere, and during the Middle Ages when people had to be executed, rather than hanging them they were put in cages on the top of Com Gibbitt and left there for the animals to find.

    ... the coach was bigger and they just had to wait . One of them gave the driver a mouthful because he had to wait his turn to get through . Eventually we got out of the mayhem and ended up stopping at 7.00 am for us to have a 1/2 hour break , the only thing was the place where we stopped the roadhouse was full of people who had come directly from tSilverstone on other Buses , so it was a noisy stop over . Arrived back at Grans at 11.15 and straight into bed .What a great weekend we have had ...

    ... thank the Lord! The company upgraded our car, gave us a free tank of fuel and gave us the GPS free to try to make up for stuffing us around. And even though the traffic through London was barely moving, we made it to Highclere (with a bathroom and onion rings stop along the way:) about the time we thought we should line up for tickets.
