There was a woman who decided that she was to be our acting coach. Though she mostly laid backstage and yelled at us for being there.  She would fall in and out of sleep mumbling Shakespearean text and sharply requesting water.   She used very foul language and really needed a hug.  

Then there was this dude Bill. He was about 40, tan, drunk, and barefoot. He wanted to help. So ...

Sherl Crow's singing about leaving Las Vegas on the radio. She's a couple days late but I can dig it.

Gna go to the sushi place and then the beer place with matt and ashley tonight. It should be swell.

We're about 20 minutes away.

Matt's already mixing the drinks.

... or review it. Once I came up to the 40ish foot mark I had full control over my camera again. I think the pictures do the talking. The trip ended with us getting our certification cards and taking a shot of fake champagne out of a scuba mask. The following morning we had to get up at 3:30 to drive the 15 hours back home. Some people stayed up and partied, but I crashed just incase I couldn't sleep in the car.

Your mind tells you it shouldn't be working, but it is. I got to pl*y *round *nd get * few excellent pictures which I recommend checking out. Ag*in, like yesterd*y, the night ended with subw*y *nd *nother round.

... assist breathing. We all passed all of these without a hitch and got to continue on. Most people never fail, anyway, but it is just a formality to get your cert card.

After a long day of diving and a cookout we went back to our motel to do the only two things there were to do in Williston aside from diving, eat Subway, and drink. I'd say it was a pretty good way to end the night with some new friends.

It's really starting to cool off, but still much better than at home, where it is in the single digits. The local office sent me a goodie basket...wine, cheese, crackers, cookies, fruit. It was so nice of them to do that. They really know how to make a person feel special. Walked to Cracker Barrel for dinner. Last chance for a while to enjoy wearing a light jacket outside.

Ok, Florida takes a lot longer to get to than we thought! It doesn't help if you go to bed late, oversleep, take a detour to Spruce Pine, and stop every hour. I wish that we had something cool to say about our trip so far, but basically, we just drove forever. The hotel is ok, but has a really really ****** bed and an exposed light fixture above the shower. Mike the engineer is going crazy! There's also rain and tornado watches. I hope the trip gets better from here!
