I left for the airport today in the wee hours of the morning. My brother and mom dropped me off at the airport and I have to say I am so proud of my mom for not crying! I love how strong you are. As I landed at the Newark airport in New Jersey, I got to see the New York skyline. Absolutely incredible. Felt bad, but folks at the hotel restaurant were very nice despite us coming in for food so close to close (having worked in restaurants I try very hard to avoid coming in in the last 1/2 hour). Got some code cheeks, and mostly filled out beer calendar for June (lobster rolls & kohlsch, not east to get in SF). Got to bed and slept... man did we sleep.

... my advice from experience, is not to hang around too long. It really is, the tourist trap that the guide advised us earlier.
