... until around 8pm and by this time we were exhausted. Normally we would have had a nap or regroup in the afternoon but as check out was at 12pm we have been outside all day.
Executive decision was made to day goodbye to New York and catch a can to the airport. We grabbed up our gear and said goodbye to busy Broadway and hailed a cab to Newark international airport for our 31 hour journey home.

this morning we all got woken up at 7:00 by a trombone player who came strait into our cabins. then after breakfast I went to the fine arts department and began to set everything up - moving heavy machinery like buzz saws and pallet drills with no steal toe caps. very safe.
thats pretty much it so far. my cabin is in an brilliant spot that over looks the lake. im going for some food now. :)
... some opening cocktails, dinner and a bottle of wine, we were taken downstairs to a place that looked like somewhere Jerry Seinfeld started his stand up career in; think small tables and a brick wall with a single microphone in front. We saw 5 hilarious comedians, including the MC for the night who had the best "Queens" accent! Tonight we also learned that after a few drinks, the subway is HILARIOUS! And so ends the US leg of our journey.....next stop Peru! Hasta ...
... right away. One of the workers drove me to the general vicinity of the grave sites. We walked and walked and walked looking at grave stones and the names etched on them. We could not find my great grandparents! How much more elusive could this search get?
The worker had me wait along the fence while he went back to get the big log book of names. He came back and set it on the ground to find names of people who are ...
