... they turn up to school with panda eyes, obviously tired! But when we ask them 'How are you?' they'll always respond with something positive like 'I'm frate' (fine and great). I also got my sofa bed today and it's all set up for visitors :o) Yay, can't wait! I've also put up some new photos on the picasa link I posted a few weeks ago. Since basically every corporate pavilion - the ones that naturally got the heaviest promotion (gee, I wonder why?) - has a mile-long line, Mayu and I opted to focus on the "Global Commons" international ones. While enormously-hyped pavilions like the Korean one were an incredible waste of time (hey, look what neat, pointless things we can do with our technology!!), some of the others were quite tasteful and offered intriguing reflections on the ...

... friend and I got VIP treatment when we went there, and South America and Mexico were really cool too. I could go on and on about the expo - but I'll just say one more thing: It made me want to travel even more. Tokyo was sooooo Tokyo. It was exactly what I expected but there were more trees.
