We set the alarm for 5am and were ready to walk to the pier at 6am. We opened the door to put our shoes on only to find that one of my very comfortable walking sandals was missing. It was still dark. Using a torch we hunted everywhere but to no avail. We left in a hurry as we had a 20 minute walk to the ferry which was leaving at 7am.

Then on a trolley behind us appeared our two bags. Now ...
... vehicles on blue lights but he was something else. Every car we reached was overtaken by swinging out onto the wrong side of the road forcing the oncoming traffic to move over to their hard shoulder. And this wasn't just on roads where he could see what was coming in front of him. He was driving on the wrong side of the road around blind corners. All it needed was another coach coming the other way and we would have been the end of our trip. This all on a coach with no ...
