... and we still had a few errands to run. We essentially needed some plastic containers for our ground coffee, sugar and coffee creamer, it was becoming a pain to coax these ingredients from its original packaging every time I wanted a coffee. We saw just such a shop about 300 metres from where we live, so we decided to take a late afternoon walk rather than ride there. On the way we stopped off at the Wat Plai Laem, a Buddhist temple, which is about 100 metres from ...

Many restaurants have marked the signatory emblem for years. And it is called beach dining. As the sun slowly sets into ...

... chap who clearly had some boxing experience, but when it came to this style of fighting he was well and truly put in his place by a fairly unassuming Thai.Next day we thought we'd make the most of our last day on the islands with the peds so we drove to the north of the island, parked up and set off on a trek to Bottle Beach with Maxi, Queenie and Tara. This stunning "one hour" walk ended up taking us three but was well worth it for the quiet beach at the end ...
