Travel Blogs from Philipsburg
Although we didn't visit the entire city, Philipsburg was fantastic. A quaint little beach-town nestled between gorgeous green mountains. The sand was white and the water was crystal clear. When we stepped off the boat, there were some nice little duty-free shops, but we just headed straight for the beach. Almost instantly I noticed birds, flowers, and trees I had never seen before. It didn't take but a 20-25 minute walk to see the beach.
This beach, where we ...

There is a large array of shops and bars near to where the ships are moored. We look around there before returning to our ship aware that this will be our last time on dry land for a while. We lunch in Windjammer and spend the rest of the afternoon on our balcony watching the sailboats and wave-runners ply across the bay. ...

After our look at Marigot we headed back on the tour bus across the island to Phillipsburg. We browsed the shop and beach area and went through the Yoda Museum before boarding the ship late afternoon for its departure at 5.00pm. ...

Our tour was quite interesting (not just the tour guide and her stories - she was busy trashing
St. Martins (she said she could because she was born there) and also Curacao, which stole all of their gold in the ...
... loudly, we made fools of ourselves dancing like crazy. The one hour catamaran ride went by quickly and next thing we knew we were back at the wharf and well on our way to board an air-conditioned motor coach for our second leg of our shore excursion tour.
This time, we were heading towards Marigot, the French capital city of St. Martin!
