Our cruise is almost over. It's a bit after 1600 hours on Friday April 10th. We’re cruising northwest across a very, very blue Atlantic Ocean under a warm afternoon sun. We’ve sailed past Puerto Rico and are now north of the Dominican Republic, heading toward Miami. Land is too far away to be seen, leaving us in alone in the middle of a very big ocean. It’s been a lazy day, as sea days are. Some passengers ...
Today was going to be a land day with a hike up Mt. Scenery (940m / 3084 ft.) on Saba . Unfortunately Yelle couldn't get back to our boat to transport us to the town (The Bottom). ... headed back towards the port to make it back by 4 - our debarkation time. I have to mention that on the way back we tried some samples of a few things at the shops and I tried some coconut smoothie. I tilted back my head, sipped it down, took about 3-4 steps and immediately turned around and bought a large one. It was unbelievable and its about all I thought about the rest of the day. They were also giving samples of some guavaberry rum that was pretty tasty.
