Sunset Beach is the beach all the planes coming into St. Maarten, fly directly over right before touchdown. Although we didn't visit the entire city, Philipsburg was fantastic. A quaint little beach-town nestled between gorgeous green mountains. The sand was white and the water was crystal clear. When we stepped off the boat, there were some nice little duty-free shops, but we just headed straight for the beach. Almost instantly I noticed birds, flowers, and trees I had never seen before. It didn't take but a 20-25 minute walk to see the beach.
