... life in the airport and it was booming. We spotted the Heineken stall and decided that that would be our breakfast, along with a smoothy from the stall next door.

What a beautiful airport is was. There was a small oasis in the middle of the restaurants. And the dome shaped roof above the oasis was heavenly, with glass sides providing a beautifull view of the city. We thought of exploring the city a bit, seeing that we had to wait ...

The longer we waited, the more exhausted we became. It felt like we were almost ...

Hi it is late on our last night in Dubai so I will try and keep it short and sweet. A couple of days ago we went on an evening desert safari. This was very fun even with a strong level of jet lag. We got to ride around sand dunes in the desert in a 4x4! We then enjoyed a great evening of an open bar, dinner, camel riding, henna tattoo, weird Arabic coffee and belly dancers. Thank you G&g for arranging :) ! The next day we visited wadi water ...

... the camel. Nice shot and made purchase at end of evening. Then off to the falcon show where the falconair and Gizmo the falcon put on a pretty good show. Back into the 4WD and over the sand dunes we go. Great fun. We stop at a half way point to all get out and view the sun setting, great photo opportunity. We then arrive at this beautiful oasis with low tables and cushions to sit on all set around the main stage for the belly dancer ...
