      ... it was nice.
We then caught a train to see the Emirates Tower. It was so nice and cool inside, since it was so hot outside. From there we caught a taxi and headed back to the apartment because were leaving early the next morning. We had to pack our bags, shower and get ready, plus we need to have a rest so we can wake up early and catch our plane.

Arrived back very quickly with "Speedy" Gonzales at the wheel. A big day before our flight home ...

... the sunset and then just sat in the vastness of the desert while the drivers said their prayers behind a sandhill.

Dine and dance was very good. They did the dance, but no belly dancing as this is off limits during Ramadan. The meal was great and best described as a Bedouin interpretation of a kiwi BBQ. To our pleasant surprise beer and wine were available.

This was a great experience which could only be better if you could drive ...

Then we went to the Jumeira Mosque, which is architecturally stunning and a great example of Middle Eastern medieval style. It was very impressive and we met a wonderful friend who showed us around the outside (thanks Osman).

Next stop: Persian Gulf at Jumeira Beach. By this time, we were starting to feel a little like our faces were going to melt off. We changed into swimsuits thinking we'd take a dip in the refreshing ...
