    ... noon to go site seeing. Noon flies by as we rest our sleep deprived and time zone messed up bodies. But we do manage to awake for lunch. We talk to a tour desk on the way back to the room and book a 4 hour site seeing tour for tonight at 5:00 PM. Excited as it will take us to many of the sites and give us a solid overview of the city.

    ... gleaming and shiny. There are scanners, xrays and checks everywhere so my potential ease in not completing normal procedures was a bit scary. I went through three separate metal detectors in Dubai airport alone. No photos allowed there so I have nothing to declare, except that I did have to take my shoes off for one of them.
