Well, there are more benefits of the Hilton. First, there are women in bikinis who are not related to the people at work. I didn't go to the Ramadan tent for dinner, but you could eat out on the beach. Now it is time to go home.

And with the Hilton being closer to the city, it is a quick trip to eat at restaurants up there as well. Back to the Hard Rock - a great deal - all food is 50% off during Ramadan. At least one good thing during Ramadan. Met up with my old technical manager from my chemical plant days. Wasn't expecting to run into him over here.

Our new home - ain't it great? Not only do we have air conditioning - we have better TV station channels, internet, and better restaraunts.

Dear Family and Friends, Well we have arrived in the lovely city of Dubai and so I thought I would use some of my time while I am on duty today to tell you about Patrol 2. Made it to the hotel, dropped off our bags, headed straight into a security/local customs briefing for an hour and finally bed! I skipped dinner that night and crawled into bed at about midnight, set the alarm for 6am and our first 12 hour work day coming up. Ughh...sleep is highly overrated! haha

The two "touristy" attractions in town, besides exploring the different shopping centres, are the Liberation Tower and the Kuwait Towers.
