The Beginning of Goodbye
... for many reasons...
a) The unemployment rate will continue to rise (thanks a lot, Mr. President)
b) If I do get a job, my continuously increasing taxes will yield me unable to afford the cost of living for the lifestyle I have become accustomed to.
OR
c) The world will end via a zombie apocalypse, global warming, or WWIII.
Really... it's a toss up... I wouldn't be able to even make an educated guess on this one.
Like I explained at the beginning ...
Just a little messed up
... lines. I have arrived in the largest mall in Kuwait. The avenues the first thing that greats me. Shake Shack. We can't even get those in New Jersey!
As of now the only thing that is different from the states in the Mall is that the stores are over-lit and the locals garb.
I'm going to be honest I feel as if I'm stuck in my churches Christmas pageant.

Kuwait - ofwel "visa issuing, hoe het niet moet"
... Het probleem is vooral dat er niets uitgelegd of aangeduid staat behalve dan een loket bemand met een stuk of 10 mensen, met daarachter een bord met "VISA ISSUING". Voor die desk staat er dan een 50-tal mensen te wringen.
Een geluk dat ik op dat moment een collega tegenkwam die me wegwijs kon maken in de transparante 8-stappen procedure:
1) je neemt een nummerke van een dispenser die ergens op de toog tussen ...

... impressive. Regrettabley, the seats in Kuwait Airways business class are big fat seats from business class cabins of 20 years ago... And they don't recline all that far (maybe 40 degrees...). They say that the best seats to get some good sleep are those that allow you to recline 180 degrees (available, of course, on all the major Gulf carriers, Emirates, Qatar Airways and Etihad). Although I was able to sleep over 6 ...
Patience is a virtue
... found driving tactics would make themselves apparent in my not-so British driving anymore.....luckily I managed to quickly hide them for fear of loosing my license!
So why does the Kuwaiti transform from lazy and laid back worker to impatient and angry driver....the answer is I really don't know, because they can I suppose and no one will tell them otherwise! I'm not sure about you but I don't fancy taking on a GMC or a Hummer in a disagreement!
