Not a happy camper
... However, I am gaining it in my adult and elementary classes. On Sundays, I've been taking some optional classes through the company, meaning I get legal bonus pay to teach classes of people who are more genuinely interested in learning English, or who have a vested interest in doing so. I hope these will save my sanity, because the middle school work is becoming increasingly stressful.

Making sure all material is covered properly is a challenge because my students don't usually offer honest feedback. They will insist they understand something, but in reality, many have no clue what I just said. Only recently have a few been brave enough to tell me that something is unclear. I try to reward them for telling me, because I need to know what is confusing in order to truly teach.
