I will be sure to post any photos of any mischief we can find. We are thinking in two minds at the moment. Do we make this a holiday where we just go from beach to beach and do nothing but eat, sleep, ...

... Earth - a beautiful winery about an hour out of town where they cook their meats in a barrel! We had an amazing platter/stave of various meats including duck, venison, beef, goat and pork and a great flight of wines to with it. Good food, good wine and great company. What more does anyone need?? More wine of course! So we headed off to Peregrine, Waitari and a cool pub created in a container called Gibbston Tavern. Shez you would have loved it! Our new accommodation which is our little luxury stay for a couple of nights, the Millbrook Resort is set on a former farm which has been transformed into a luxury village with golf course and spa. ... but it's going to be a very very close second.

Ry and I got dinner (pizza and more fries - so sick of fries!) and wandered around some more. We got a bunch of information about things to do, almost all of which are expensive, and headed back to the hostel. Everything here is fairly expensive - canyoning, white water rafting, skydiving, etc. Hardly anything is under NZ$200, and I don't really feel like spending that much money in one day.
