    Quieter once the day trippers have gone. And they showed QPR on the telly!

    ... the gondola ride which takes you to a great viewing deck, the ledge bungy and the luge. We bought tickets at Base and got 5 luge rides plus the gondola for $50 each. For some reason because it's Monday we saved $5 on the regular price, but we are not complaining. The ride up is so peaceful and once at the top, over 400m above Queenstown, there are restaurants, a cafe, shop, function space, the bungy, ledge swing, luge and paragliding to name but a few of the activities ...

    ... called Haad Yuan, which is a little bay accessed by boat and used to have all night partying with awesome DJ's in an intimate surrounding until the wee hours, apparently been a few changes there and in fact most places with curfews etc, so we'll see what happens.     ... Earth - a beautiful winery about an hour out of town where they cook their meats in a barrel! We had an amazing platter/stave of various meats including duck, venison, beef, goat and pork and a great flight of wines to with it. Good food, good wine and great company.
