... the car was a bit like playing an arcade game where the obstacles are coming at you in a random manner. In the end it was better to overtake the local, at least that way I had more of a chance to spot and avoid the bigger holes.

Eventually we rejoined a main road and for the final few kilometres to Bran and Dracula's castle. Now the connections between this castle and Bram Stoker's character are tenuous ...

I also found out that to see the inside of this castle is really expensive. You pay for each floor you see so some people only go in and see 1 floor. So we did pay, and even just to see the outside was incredible. The fountains, the structure, the statues were all so neat to see. I can only imagine what it looks like inside and what ...

Sibiu and Brasov: Argumentation and Realizations

A travel blog entry by shane0620 on Jun 22, 2012

... we're all just trying to fit in. It's just human nature.

Putting all the argumentation aside, the rest of my time in Brasov was cut short because of the realization that it would take longer than a day to travel to Kiev, time I didn't budget for when I planned the skeleton of my trip. While I intended some outdoor adventures for the next day, I would spend it sitting on train after train. Having researched my options, I chose a cheap route with ...
