... and it was honestly so much fun!!! We counted down in Romanian and then the fireworks and singing only got more insane hahaha. It was such an incredible night, and so different to what we're used to for New Years with the weather and traditional singing and dancing! Today we slept right in as we only got to bed at 2am- and then started packing and planning our weekend in Rome! Tomorrow morning ...

... that most of the fireworks they were letting off had actually been banned in New Zealand years ago! The fireworks which were let off were quite scary as there was a massive crowd and we heard windows smashing. It was really weird seeing so many sober people at New Years compared to back home haha.
