Obviously the park managers and Japanese people in general are very proud of their monkeys and have put in place measures to prevent them from being mistreated in any way. We met our host at the entrance again and were taken to the ryokan.

On our way back we stopped at small village Obuse. Famous from it's sake, chestnut jam's, cookies and plenty more. Did some wondering about through charming little streets, grabbed a desert, bought some chestnut stuff and head to Nagano.

... girls went up on the ski lift and slid back down. I went back down the big mountain on the gondala and the girls very bravely decided to ski all the way to the bottom (about 5kms). Claire twisted her knee falling over but seems to have recovered now. We had belgian waffles and french fries for lunch and then came home. I caught the bus and the snowmobile and the girls skied all the way home. This afternoon we had a rest for ...
... bullet back to Tokyo...yep I fell asleep again!!!! and spent the evening exploring the area above Tokyo station. Under the railway bridges they had turned the empty space into little tiny restaurants. v They wernt very touristy friendly with pictures so we deicded to avoid them and go for yet some more sushi yum!!!!!
It had been a long day so we were pretty exhausted after dinner and ready for a sleep before our last day sightseeing.
