Unfortunately, thanks in part to a Super-Typhoon that was heading for Japan, and also to the fact that it's rainy season here, when we arrived the mountains were entirely shrouded in clouds and mist, to the extent that we couldn't even guess which direction Mt. At the edge of the market are some tiny restaurants (maybe 10 seats each) where you can get the freshest sushi ever. It is very popular so you have to wait in line, but since we were there early, we didn't ...

And so, my second city is drawing to a close. I've enjoyed Ota most for the time I've had to explore the area via bicycle. Once we got through the first 10 days, our schedule became quite easy, with one show and practice on weekdays, and three shows each weekend day. This left me with plenty of time to explore. As I mentioned before, the area to the north of Ota is mountainous. This has made for some very beautiful (and also challenging) rides. ...
