Once at our guest house we were so pleased we had booked to stay here. The people were lovely and really wanted to help us out in any way they could. Well we went from 5 stars to Zero stars overnight. What an experience and what a journey. Just as well we are on our holidays and not in any hurry. We left Cape House, in Bangkok at 2.00 and it took 45 minutes to get to the railway station which normally would be a 10 min journey. On the plus side the taxi fare was 110 Baht, even with a !00% tip was still only four pounds sterling. The train station looked like any other ...
