... room in the beautiful Pittsfield Building and had lunch in the foyer diner. Went for a quick walk heading towards the lake and took photos of the amazing cloud gate.

... and took in the sparkling view of the city skyline from above. A fire pit roared from behind our perch along the outdoor ledge overlooking Michigan Ave and warmed us in the breezy evening air. After polishing off our cocktails, I got a look at the stately game room downstairs, a wood-paneled play haven filled with billiard tables, shuffle board, and a bocce ball court. ... glam entrance into the tower. We arrive at the lift and are about to step in when we hear "ladies can I just check your ids please". We knew straight away what that meant. 21 rule screws us over again! So instead we kept the evening classy and stayed in the tower, but went to the Cheesecake Factory.
