... in a shop front, amazing French bread and pastry shop, and all sorts of specialist crafts such as custom made chopsticks. The streetscaping is also beautifully done. Best of all it was not crowded. The temple area was worth a look. I did the cleansing ritual again, burnt incense and rubbed the Buddha to try and find a miracle cure for my upper respiratory infection. Anything is worth trying at this stage! After breakfast and photos Mr Yumoto drove us to the train. We went to Nagano then ran to catch an earlier train to Matsumoto, this caused much confusion at the gate but we made it . Boys relaxed in the hotel. We explored the town - nakamichi street and nawate street. Found the best indigo fabric shop ever, and bought some treasures, was also given lots of fabric gifts!
