... I stammer back
"Meguez?! How do you know Merguez?! Where did you first eat Merguez?"
"Canada"
He's shocked to hear that we've heard of Merguez in Canada. "Maybe the Algerian community is making it there" he guesses.
The places is packed, with a fun atmosphere. There's only the one man behind the counter, though once in a while a customer will go back to help themselves to a pop or more ketchup. There's plenty of banter, though most of it I don't ...
... with: “the world needs more fools like you.”
Even I fluxuate in my thought about what’s goin on. Most importantly, I live day to day and try to plan out what’s needed for the immediate future (i.e. food and shelter). Some days I;m on top of the world. I feel healthy and strong, and I’m exactly where I want to be. Other days…well today was a day I felt like a ...
... chair who fell on the cobblestone streets of Capri and fractured her tibia. Like i have said before, some of these people are trying to do things they shouldn't be doing. The movie tonight on MUTS is Ghosts of Girlfriends Past with Matthew McConaughey...don't know if i can convince Bob to go but i think it sounds funny. Tomorrow the weather sounds great for Barcelona so hopefully we will have something more interesting to report. Ciao for now:)
Marseille, Provence, France sscaswell... believe our luck. It was so nice. Still, warm and crystal clear water on sandy beaches. We had a quick swim but knew we had to leave to get to Avignon on time. We then decided that if we found a campsite that was open we would stay. The first 2 we came to were closed and we were sad...but around at st clair beach one was open! Woo hoo!!!! 2 very happy girls. That night we played in the sand like kids ...
st. clair, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France emmasadventures... sequence touching land in a tornado and leaving buildings lying limbs akimbo in its wake. I like entering at some unknown entrance and just seeing where the maze will spit me out, as long as it’s still daylight. The main street is Canebiere, which I affectionately refer to as the ‘canebreak,’ in homage to my roots, and from there streets radiate in all directions.
Marseilles is pizza ...
... Wifi,’ so I’ve got fingers crossed. The mall’s closed on Sunday. Welcome to France.
Sunday is a flea market. Early in the morning stuff hits the streets, literally, laid out for perusal. Mostly it’s junk of course. But that’s about all the business that gets done on a Sunday. French laws are strict about this, though they’ve been relaxed recently. Marseilles is not like most of France, of course. Like many ...
... they did this to me, I just wanted to snap off their fingers and shove them so far up their butts they could feel them wagging in their throats.
(5) If you need help from someone in public, i.e. directions at 10pm, and he just turns his head away and dimisses you with a hand gesture and no verbal acknowledgement, do nothing. Yes, do nothing but take pity on his poor soul for he lives in a city with massive unemployment ...
Toulon, France gypalbarbu... looked way old**. Ryan and I felt like p**v**ts...well we probably are, but not that kind. Ryan started in knowing I would squirm, telling h** it was my birthday yest**day. I knew she was going to ask how old. I just changed the subject real fast and asked to see h** magazine....get me out of h**e!! Did you know that they show topless girls in most magazines h**e. I was talking and turning pages with out looking. I stopped on this one page to finish my sentence. When I ...
Toulon, France jaredten... of Monaco. The train ride to Monaco was incredible, as we passed by the many small but stunning villages that dotted the Mediterranean coastline. If I return to the French Riviera, it would surely be to stay at one of these beautiful places, with names like Villefrance-sur-Mer, Beaulieu and Eze. Anyhow, Monaco definitely lived up to its glamorous reputation. From the moment we stepped off the train, we felt like we were in an episode of 'The Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous ...
