    At breakfast it was apparent that again we were the only guests, hence their restaurant being closed the previous evening. We'd been inquiring about local sights when we checked in, and in the morning, the conversation was continued. We could tour the local licorice factory if we arrived there in the next 30 minutes.     ... that was closed the other night, which Enzo, Adriana, and Federico all say is the best gelateria in Calabria. They weren't lying. The pistachio gelato was so good it actually made me sad--because I don't think I will ever be able to enjoy pistachio ice cream ever again, it will always be a let down compared to this. I am definitely going to try to go there again before I leave.

    ... So we did, and we made a bunch of other ornaments too. Unfortunately we didn't have any food coloring, so after a failed attempt at using tumeric to make the dough yellow, we decided to just color our fingers with markers and use them to add color.
