      ... used to stay from time to time. Walked the streets and to the Staffelsee and back to Hotel, it is well under 10 degrees during the day now. Went to dinner which was fabulous and an older gentleman spoke to us, he saw I was wearing a traditional vest and assumed I was a local. Great chat, great food, great to be here. We will stay in Germany for a week or so, where not sure, then to Strasbourg France for the Christmas markets. See you again in a while, getting closer to home time ...

      At breakfast it was apparent that again we were the only guests, hence their restaurant being closed the previous evening. We'd been inquiring about local sights when we checked in, and in the morning, the conversation was continued. We could tour the local licorice factory if we arrived there in the next 30 minutes.       Tonight was Matilde's class play. They did the Little Mermaid and Matilde played Ursula. Normally, I would probably say that doing a class play of a Disney movie is boring, but I appreciated it because it was nice to know what was going on without having to understand the dialogue.
