Yesterday left Positano. We took a shuttle to Salerno then picked up a car from Avis. The coast road from Positano to Salerno was truly breathtaking and the driver quite friendly and tried to explain a few sights along the way. Headed south and stopped at some Greek ruins in Paestrum which dated back to BC. Weather a little cold and rainy or we probably would have stayed longer. Took the scenic root to Marina di Camerota. Stopped at Bascillicata and had a late lunch at a little pizzeria. ...

On the way back we tried to get into the blue grotto cave which is the most famous however the sea was too rough and so ...

... no English but tried his darnedest to communicate with us. As best I can figure, the local motorcycle group meets at his bar every week. We had an excellent lunch prepared by his sister who came and checked on us every few minutes to make sure we were enjoying the food, We were and probably wouldn’t have admitted if we weren’t as she looked as if she could take us all on at once in a bar room brawl. She was VERY ...
