We are serenaded by a guitarist who plays us Hey Jude, and then a traditional Japanese "welcome"song which everyone joins in. We catch the last metro home and are again very pleased with ourselves at again managing to negotiate the subway successfully, despite it actually being down to the fact that it has a very simple letters and numbers key which makes it dead easy.

Earthquake shakes Tokyo!
... We knew we had arrived in the right place. The market is a crazy hustling space filled with witty sellers who's whole family take part in the industry. The Grandad was slicing the fish with samurai-like precision whilst the rest of the clan shouted out in several different languages encouraging us to take their prize piece of Tuna off their hands. Cant say we were looking forward to trying any of it after witnessing guts been thrown into buckets and fish eyes staring back ...

For lunch, our guide took us to a small, local, noodle restaurant for some ramen noodles - This was not a place a casual tourist would ever have known even existed, but the food was great.
To walk off our large lunch, we took a stroll around the front and the gardens of the Imperial Palace.

Day 150: Grandma's birthday
Toby, his kids, Adam and Dana all left Japan today. It was such a short time but I hope they could understand tiny grasp about Japan. Japan is not just about Tokyo and there are plenty of other places to visit but one week is not good enough to do that. There is always next time… Hope they come back again in the future and I can show them more about my country.

Also da hab ich mich heute mit Brigitte beim Hakuhinkan Toy Park 博品館, gleich bei mir in der Nähe auf der Ginza, getroffen. Brigitte wollte nämlich ein süßes Case für ihre Suica Card kaufen. Leider haben wir nicht wirklich was gefunden aber sie hat sich dann noch eine Miffy Bento-Box und ein Totoro Mini-Handtuch (sehr beliebt in Japan weils manchmal noch keine Handtrockner - beispielsweise in Toiletten in den Stationen gibt oder einfach nur um sich etwas den ...
