... already very impressed by everything we'd seen at Versailles. Finally, we made our way into the Chateau by mid-afternoon. Honestly, it was ridiculous in a good way. Even though probably more than 95% of the rooms are off limits to visitors, we still felt like access to the palace rooms was extensive. The audio guide was also quite helpful for providing background info and context for the things we saw. The amount of detail in the decoration of the rooms was unbelievable and we ...

Rainy day, so Dawn and I are going to the Louvre. Maybe it won't be crowded! No such luck! Thousands of Chinese tour groups running you down. Unfortunately, no pics, but we saw Mona Lisa, Caravaggio, Michelangelo, Delacroix, many other great ones. We got a museum pass, so we have 6 days to make the best of it. Going to Pomadou Center Next. Tonight, after a tasty salad, we walked to Sacre Coeur., Place de Tertre, full of activity and life at ...

Standing on top of a hill, it's visible across the Paris skyline, standing out especially on level 2 of the Eiffel Tower. Food & wine Loving the food here. While we are not eating ...

We went to the catacombs. It was pretty interesting. You walked through dimly lit underground tunnels which were built hundreds of years ago. You then arrive at the catacombs where the bones of six million Parisians line the walls. They are neatly laid in a repetitive pattern. We saw an uncomfortable amount of bones and we didn't see anywhere near all of them. We then went to the montparnasse cemetery which was just around the corner. We thought Oscar Wilde was buried there.. It turns out ...

... again. And then it takes seven or eight hours from Brunei to Melbourne. Then we take the shuttle bus from Melbourne to Bendigo. We will arrive in Bendigo at eleven o 'Clock on Sunday morning. We will be exhausted and we will want to go to sleep, and according to mum we have to stay up all day, which in Paris will probably be all night. I hope Charlotte is home so I can go and play and she can keep me ...
