... We were so glad we did this, as you get a different perspective of what you've seen from the boulevards and streets, and to see the Eiffel Tower glittering with lights on the hour was just beautiful. There were people everywhere along the sides of the river, just sitting having picnics or a drink, or walking along the river promenade. The Parisians were out playing with their children and walking their dogs, obviously part of the daily ritual for apartment ...

... a barrier rail was so heavy from all the padlocks it broke off and fell into the river. A 20 minute break for lunch, during which I found a raisin pastry and a chocolate croissant for 2.70 Euro, then found a small supermarket where I bought some apricots for another 1.5 Euro. Oh my gosh! So Brett almost got caught in the metro doors on the way to the Eiffel Tower! The metro was super busy and people were pushing their way on and poor Brett got stuck in the middle of it as the doors were closing. We were almost separated in the midst of all the chaos. ... I was so tired by the end of the night, with no promise of many hours of sleep the next day that we decided to just go to sleep. Our days have been amazing, and I so far I have absolutely no regrets!

Unfortunately it is late here, and once again we are exhausted, and will be waking up early, so this is the only post for now. I will post about our day today tomorrow, or the next day when I will be on the train to Lyon. For now Goodnight, and sleep tight!

... down before. Yes I've walked Paris! Found some amazing fashion shops including a kids version of Dior and the like. Neat clothes but we won't have the conversation about the price *laugh*. Found fashion furniture shops with some of the funkiest and quirkiest things I've ever seen. Fell in love with them though I think Bill would disagree if I wanted to take them home. Very Lari as my family would say. And some of the neatest bathrooms and bathroom gear I've ever seen. ...
