... La Durantie adventure. Got to the train in plenty of time and a three hour journey down to Limoges. Picked up our hire cars and on to the chateau in convoy. Fourteen of us in all. Chateau la durantie is about an hours drive south of Limoges in the Dordogne. Arrived at the chateau around 3pm. David and Michael were already there, arriving in from Spain. Great to see them especially as David had done the big shop for the five days and dinner that night. He ...

The cruise lasted just over an hour and it was a very relaxing way to spend a late Sunday afternoon. Supper was at home - afterall we had a roast chicken to eat! ...

I had to almost restrain Nok from jumping the bar to get to that one! He was certainly showing me another side of Paris! He wanted me to go out dancing with him and his flatmate but unfortunately I didn't bring my disco glitter so I had to turn down the offer, but will definitely catch up with them before I leave.

... there are communal bikes dotted around the city and you can pay to use them.  You unlock them, ride to where you are going and then relock them at a station.  But when Dad was helping me my little legs couldn't really reach the ground and I felt like I might fall off.  I felt out of control - almost like I was drunk.  So instead we got the train to the Eiffel Tower.  It wasn't just an ordinary train - it was a ...
