We've stopped for the night but I'm still rocking with the motion of the train.... Left Virginia and headed north....passed Baltimore, Philadelphia, NYC...and made it all the way to Connecticut. What a day: Florida to CT ( Palm trees to snow) in 25 hours - ...

A travel blog entry by nangarner on Jan 21, 2015

We are excited and looking forward to our next adventure to Morocco. This is a trip that we have wanted to do for some time. We will visit ancient cities with medinas, walled with maze-like streets, village oases, and nomadic tribes that still roam the Sahara. Will she still be the same girl who gallivanted with me on a scavenger hunt in NYC and who, in her youth, left me entertaining phone messages? Or will she become whatever it is they are training her to be? Will she change so quickly, or not at all? But that’s impossible, to change not-at-all.

      ... sunshine.
Back onto the Interstate for a brief crawl (it was rush hour) to West Haven, our final Super 8. This joint is not located in the best quarter of West Haven, being characterised by very large lorries, lots of boat yards and a sticky, oily smell to the air. The motel itself was not much better, with a lingering reek of cat's wee about the corridors. It also seems to serve as a knocking shop, rooms by the hour if you know what I mean!! ...
