... was of course watching the Penguins. No cameras are allowed so I don't have any pictures other than the 2 chicks we saw before we entered the official parade site. The mother lays 2 eggs and if both hatch there are 2 chicks. The male builds the nest and then pretty much convinces a female that his nest is clean and ready and mates with her . Both parents take turn raising and feeding fish to the chicks. These penguins are the smaller kind. They are about 10 to 12 ...
