Slowly finding time to update my blog. Sunday was a slowish day, had a sleep in before heading to a World Culture Day event were I met Yuri, a nice Japanese girl who wanted to practice English with me and asked to be my friend. We've now sent a couple of emails but without Caitlin to translate, the conversation doesn't go far. Afterwards we went and ordered far too much Chinese but had yummy dumplings so it was all good.

Wandering wandering wondering what we'll find! Well, we found Gucci and Dolce&Gabanna and the designer mall. Its so strange walking past shops and stalls where the employees bow at you! We didn't buy anything obviously but it was nice to look. What a long long day! Set off from Heathrow at 9 after teary goodbyes. Was more excited than sad though. 11 hour flight to Shanghai was not too great. Our TV screens were the only ones that refused to play movies. And a Chinese lady decided I was her pillow for the night so I got zero to maybe an hours nod off. Natalie dozed and slept.
