... dinner as it was raining quite heavily. We were originally going to walk along the beach front up to the Alum Kul Kul hotel, they have a great restaurant called Poppa's. But due to the rain we ate at the Floating Lounge at the hotel, we had a traditional Dutch meal that was an individual smorgasbord of food.
Huge feast and well worth it. Amazingly quite and very personalised service.

... we couldn't complain either about the setting and backdrop of marina beauty we were sat around. Time ticked by far too quickly, it was a good job us girlies can talk ten to the dozen and keep up with each other, to cram in as much of a catch up as we did do. Leaving Margaret River we headed further north and passed through the lovely towns of Dunsborough, Yallingup and Busselton. Once again we saw some stunning turquoise water, some amazing surf beaches and walked on and fished ...

Made our way back to city centre down Mount Street with lovely, lovely houses (would like to live here!) to have another coffee.Later called into Choo Choo’s bar, very cool in fact we were told they don’t do wine glasses as ...

On Sunday it was a surprisingly easy drive to Perth and to our tourist park (Karringyup Waters) which is only 15 odd kms N/NW of the CBD. We booked a week here and immediately set off to two main suburban shopping centres for an urban fix.

The van park has great amenities though it is unlikely that we will use the pool. The locals are great – there are various friendly ducks that walk up to the door, poke their heads in and investigate what you are ...
