It is amazing how many little things are required to do in order to prepare for an extensive trip. Packing the house, prepping the van, acquiring all the portable items (gas hot water shower will be the saviour after an extended drive over the Nullabor or washing off the salt)
I will be packing the van over the next couple of days, packing the house into one room and then boosting it on Saturday.
First stop Hyden and Wave Rock, then onto Esperance.

Didn't end up going out for dinner due to being exhausted and sun struck. There was night cricket on at the WACA. The Perth city centre was fun - lots of buskers and lots of foreign tourist. A few scary Rose Hancock type women as ...

... even just driving to work while screaming along to various pop punk bands. I haven't been able to listen to music much and it's surprising what an effect that has on my moods. So as of Monday we will be working 12 hours a day 6 days a week for as long as we can hack it. It will be hard work in hot temperatures but I'm determined to make the best of it. It will be tough but as long as we keep laughing and singing I'm sure we an make it. So here ...

... Kevin enjoyed the exploration as much as I did.

For brunch we stopped at the Serpentine falls – another picnic area with falls as the cherry on top.

My wish was to take some sunset photos at Mandurah. (Some people would consider this very dull – they do not know me well enough then – I ...
